Missing teeth? Implant dentistry can help you fill in the gaps and rejuvenate your smile with appliances that look and feel like your own natural teeth. We offer a variety of options for our patients to consider, whether they’re missing a single tooth or need to replace an entire set. The appliances that we offer are:
  • Single tooth replication and replacement
  • Anterior replications and replacements
  • Posterior replications and replacements
  • Full upper set replacements

Implant dentistry can help you fill in the empty spot left by an adult tooth that you lost for any reason. Perhaps you suffered a mishap during a team sporting event or got into a car accident. Regardless of the circumstances, if you’re missing a tooth, we can restore your smile to wholeness using a fabricated tooth that not only matches the shape and pattern of your remaining teeth but also the color. So no one will ever be the wiser.

Anterior implant dentistry involves the teeth at the front of the mouth. If you’re singing that adorable old song, “All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth,” you’re singing about your anterior choppers. Your posterior teeth are the ones located at the back of your mouth (i.e., your molars and wisdom teeth).

Your implant dentistry options will be dependent upon the amount of jawbone that you have available for appliance insertion. The process entails anchoring a pin-like device (or multiple devices) into the patient’s jawbone, and then attaching the “new teeth” to it.

We offer the following types of mounting techniques:
  • Root Implants
  • Plate-form Implants
  • Subperiosteal Implants

Root implants are the most popular of the dental replacement methods. This is because the artificial roots of the patient’s new teeth are anchored directly into the jawbone and, during healing time, integrate with the bone tissue itself. This lends to a more natural experience of sensation for patients, who often describe their new teeth as their “third set!”

The plate-form implant dentistry option is implemented for patients whose jawbones are not wide enough to accommodate large artificial roots. Plate-form appliances are longer and thinner than root appliances. And, while some patients will require a healing period, certain patients who receive the plate-form dental device will be able to be fitted with their new teeth without having to wait for the artificial roots to integrate with the jawbone. The subperiosteal device is provided to patients who have very little bone material available to anchor their appliances. Nowadays, with our advanced technologies, subperiosteal installations can now be performed with a single surgery. In the past, this technique required two surgical procedures: one to make impressions of the jaw, and the second to install their implant. No more!
